Isnt this porch heavenly? its not mine, but i hope someday it will be :)I will let this giveaway run until thursday 5/20/10. GOOD LUCK!
***this is officially closed. thanks for playing!
I see you want NC...where? I'm in Asheboro...right smack dab in the center with the state zoo! I remember having friends stationed at Nellis. Previous to that they were Grand Forks, ND....she would complain and say they had more company at Nellis than any other place they ever lived. Hmmmm...I suspect why! Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteTexas rocks! Just pick a spot and we run the entire gamut of seasons! Lots of fun places to shop, vacation, etc. Maybe I'll see you in the good ole Lone Star State someday!
ReplyDeleteI live in Amerika Samoa and totally love it but if I had my one choice it would be on the island of Hilo, the Hilo side not the Kona side.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the wonderful giveaway!
I would love to live in Whitefish Montana thats my dream.
ReplyDeleteHolly
Good question! We have been moving every 3 to 4 years, so a more permanent spot would be wonderful. I'm liking the Pacific NW. ;-) Thanks for the chance!
ReplyDeleteSo cute. I currently live in AZ, also not my live forever place. I would love to live someplace like Oregon or Washington.
ReplyDeleteMy current home, Richmond TX...is definitely not my permanent home...I hope :) I'd love to eventually move back to Louisiana and be closer to my family.
ReplyDeleteI would love to live somewhere south of New England. SC, NC or Florida. I've lived in Mass my whole life (40's) and I'm done with the winter!
ReplyDeleteCute potholders Bobbi! If I could live anywhere in the world, it would be somewhere warm - maybe TX or AZ... but I am a midwestern gal, so I may have to stay in the midwest, just more south.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, that front porch is divine! Mine is almost like that one, only not as deep. It does run the entire width of the front of the house though, and is a wonderful place to sit on a cool fall afternoon with a cup of tea.
ReplyDeleteI would live somewhere that weather all the time just like the springs and falls here in New England. Not quite sure where that is, but for now, I'll just enjoy spring and fall!
Nice potholders, BTW!
MGM
If I had my choice anywhere...I would choose to have a lake home in Minnesota.
ReplyDeleteActually Bobbi I am lucky as I DO live where I love. We live on 5 acres which is peaceful and only a 5 km drive to a beautiful beach.
ReplyDeletealso not too far from my DD's and family.
the pot holders are lovely. To nice to use.
I love the fabrics you've used in those potholders. I live in paradise already( a little town half way up the coast of Western Australia) but I can be happy where ever I hang my hat! I learnt a long time ago that "happiness is in your head". It's not the view but the eyes you see it thru'.
ReplyDeletegreat question- its something i never stop thinking about!
ReplyDeletefirst of all i lived also in vegas and i miss vegas but i wouldnt want to live their again.
today i live in israel and i cant stand it.... dont get me wrong its not becues of the news or the constent fighting their are many other problems that have nothing to do with all that.
on one hand my dream is to go back to the stats and live their again. but on the other hand their is to much crime in the stats so i thought maybe australia might be the most perfect place on earth for me: good people, less crime, good economy, good weather
sounds perfect to me! i wish....
I love my country, Norway, But if I could choose, I would move to the west coast. It's such beautiful nature there, with the fjords and the mountains.
ReplyDeleteI love the rugged beauty of Norway were my DH family has a home. Yes on the beautiful west coast - fjord country! But I am a midwestern girl and lived near Chi town my whole life - close to my family. Tough call.
ReplyDeleteSo many places to choose from! Of course, living in Germany would be pretty cool. I do like where I am for the most part in PA, but I would definitely get rid of the snow if I could and live on a goat farm out of town, but not too far out of town. That sounds a bit picky, huh? Oh, and your pot holders really rock! I would love to have them in my home! The colors are great!
ReplyDeleteThe porch is heavenly as well as those great potholders. What a nice giveaway.
ReplyDeleteIf I could live anywhere it'd be the Bahamas. My great-aunt told me that's where my family originated so I would like to spend a few years there to find lost relatives and connect with my heritage.
ReplyDelete~Tootles!
I love the place were I live. I could wish it would be a little bit more sunny. Lovely giveaway. Hugs Jofrid
ReplyDeleteoooh, nice giveaway! I'd stay right here in B.C., Canada, but would probably ditch the big smoke for one of the Gulf Islands.
ReplyDeleteWhereever my family is I believe I can be happy. I grew up in Colorado, but have lived in the South, too. If that is your dream porch you would have to go North Carolina. That is great country for porches.
ReplyDeleteI think Southern IN is as beautiful as it gets. Lush land and hills rolling all over.
ReplyDeleteI'm with Holly Days Closet - I want to live in Stevensville,MT. I was blessed to visit there five years ago last month and I did not want to get on the plane to come back to AR. someday I hope to live there...
ReplyDeleteOh! how cute they are!
ReplyDeleteI want to go into the draw so... I can say I'm living where I want, in Malaga, Spain, but sometimes I dream to live in NYC, the place I love since I was there on a trip. Of course, I love to live there if I'd not need to work.... so... this is one of my dreams (not need to work, of course!)
Thanks for your lovely giveaway.
Mila.
