last night i had my own little "sew-in"......after a busy week i decided to take some time for myself and relax. my family left and went to a baseball game so i had the entire night alone. WOW that never happens around my house. i figured the most calming way to relax is embroidering. i kicked my feet up, watched the movie MIRACLE with Kurt Russell and made this pillow cover. (i love his ND/MN accent in that movie--plus hockey is just the coolest sport ever!)
i wish you could see the colors of the fabric....pics never do them justice. its a medium gray with the daisy's and i found a gray gingham for the backing. the embroidery is almost the same color as the yellow/green in the daisy. i heart this pillow :)
what are you all doing to relax this summer?

Nice job, love it when I can just sew, sew, sew!
Oh, I ♥ it too! Great job! Relax? There's none of that happening here...4 swaps, visiting family, doggie attacked by raccoon. I need a vacation!
Watched Miracle last night as well, and I agree...hockey is the best sport ever!!!!! Love it.
I love that saying, it's soooo true! The house to yourself - oh, I'm soooo envious. Super pillow, terrific gray.
Love your pillow Bobbi. There is nothing nicer than sitting, stitching and watching a great movie.
What a cute pillow. Love it.
This is so cute...I love the fabric and your embroidery is great.
Hmmm, relaxing in the summer. Sitting on my front porch early in the morning with a nice cup of coffee listening to the birds. Yesterday morning, I got up and went on the backporch and there was a beautiful rainbow there to greet me. Doesn't get much better than that..Have a great day! Hugs, Linda
Hello Bobbi, what a fantastic cushion. I just love the saying on it. A great job with the colour coordinating. Happy days.

Such a cute pillow! I love the yellow and grey.
Miracle is one of my favorite movies! Have you listened to the special features on the dvd? It explains how the movie was made and it was very interesting!
