having a cold just makes me lazy. i cough...i cough...i sigh...then go to bed early.
tonight i stared at my sign "you sew girl" and decided gosh darnit, dont let this cold get you down! YOU NEED TO SEW GIRL! So I proceeded to move to the sewing table...move around fabric, pick up UFO's, look at a magazine then move back to my comfy chair. someone come light the fire cuz my butt needs to get going. i have a few projects that are a MUST finish this weekend.
maybe a quick trip to my LQS is just what Dr. Sewgood would order.......to get that fire burning once again.

That sign is so cute! Unfortunately I have no oomph to spare, as I'm just at the beginning of a cold myself. A visit to the LQS is never a bad idea though :)
you need inspiration? Go look at Val's post about Granny.. she has a cold but just keeps quilting.
Just push that comfy chair to the sewing table. lol
Sorry to hear you are not feeling well but you are right. Get stuck into a small UFO and you will feel better if you can finish it.

Hand work is good with a cold--finishing bindings keeps the quilt over you and you can nod off for a while then keep going.
I hope you feel better!! I bought that same sign for me and my bestie!! I love it!! It does encourage me to sew!! Good luck!
Sorry to hear you're down with a cold - warm lemon/honey tea and 6 hours of BBC Pride & Prejudice is what this doctor orders (get your hubby to check the library)!
Get well, Bobbi!
Well, Heidi just told you what I was going to say. Granny doesn't feel good either but she says she has to keep going. I told her that she needs to rest but she can't hardly stand to stop sewing. She is all of our inspiration. I hope you are feeling better.
