10 years later
seems impossible its been that long doesn't it?
my sister is a fabulous photographer! she took this photo yesterday down the road from her house.
what a beautiful photo!
i love how she caught just enough of the sun on the flag.
its the look....that look that a true photographer knows how to get.

You are so right...It seems like yesterday that I turned the news on and I watched live the second tower being hit. I just felt horrified and still do so.
Your sister did capture a lovely shot of our flag. Can she copyright it or something? Stunning.

My husband and I were driving to work at school and heard it happen on the radio here at 6 in the morning. That day at school was one I will never forget. It is hard to believe it was 10 years ago. My dad actually helped build them in the early 70s. I still can't watch the tv footage of that day without emotion.
