FNSI winners and a surprise

sorry for the delay folks!!! here is a prime example of how my life has been lately. i go to work around 7ish this morning......and didnt notice THIS until lunchtime!!! need i say more?


yep....your seeing it correctly. 1 black and 1 brown shoe. i was wearing all black too so i couldnt even say "hey, its a new trend". OY VEY!

yesterday heidi and i were chatting about how to handle this months FNSI. all of my stuff is packed....including my machine and fabs. so we decided to do something a little special. we were feeling the guilt of having so much going on in our worlds these past few months. we LOVE doing friday night sew in and LOVE that you all participate!!! sooo.....my first winner will get this....

a charm pack of moda ORIGINS by basic grey and a roll of this fabulous tape to mark things such as rulers when you have a million 3 inch squares to cut (for example).

the TWIST is we are also giving another winner on EACH of our blogs a little FQ pack just for being so patient with us!!!

ME! i cant believe ive neglected my blog so much since june! ive had such a busy few months.

last night was friday night sew-in and i have nothing to report. along with going through a blog block, im going through a crafting block also.

but i do have something fun coming up........something ive been working on for months......


heres a peak...... see this big empty room? well, this will be my new sewing room soon! WOOHOO
i have been sewing all this time in a corner of my house off the living room. not ideal....but it worked.

my new room is going to be huge. my crafty father even made me a new desk to sew on. im so excited....but the fun is just beginning for my family. everyone hates to pack and unpack right?

tomorrow ill sit down and surf blogs. i cant believe there were 133 people who joined in! VERY COOL. is everyone working on xmas presents?
