Friday Night Sew In time again !!! Its this coming friday, January 20th.
Here is a breakdown of the "rules". (i hate that word rules because no one will get in trouble for not participating). someone give me another word.....or phrase. LOL
anyhoo.......here it is in the quick and short version.
1. get your world in order on Friday and sew, craft, stamp, scrapbook, build, embroider, crochet, knit, or paint until your eyes wont stay awake anymore. make sure you have some comfy jammies on and a beverage of choice and a yummy snack. this night is for YOU. if you have kids, maybe include them in the fun. if your kids are older (like mine) order them pizza or give them movie money. LOL!
2. Take photos of what you did and blog about it on Saturday. This will enter you into the drawing for a FNSI prize :)
3. Sunday come back and see if you won. Ill be posting the winner at some point on Sunday.
thats about it. OH YEAH....HAVE FUN and tell all of your friends about our virtual party!
Thanks Bobbi... see you Friday...

I'll be there!! I've got lots of sewing to do!!!
I'm trying really hard to finish up some of my UFOs from last year (and the year before that...), so I'll probably work on something from that pile...

A wonderful excuse to get some sewing done
This Friday I plan to really participate. In December I was a bit to busy with moving and didn´t sew much. Now I have a lot of projects, so Friday here I come!!
I never did manage to join in last year, so taking the opportunity now, and look forward to joining in.
I've been planning some FMQ for Friday. 'see' you then.
I have not participated in a while, hope to get a wall hanging finished and start a couple other projects. Thanks!
I am #90 on the sign ups with 3 more days until the sew in. I am really looking forward to this one since all of the holiday obligations are behind me and I can sew what ever I want! I have a bottle of wine ready to enjoy, a new tv in my sewing room and pretty brand new landscaping outside my sewing room window. Friday, hurry up and get here!

I love FNSI time. It gives me the permission to dedicate the entire evening to sewing. Pizza for supper, son gets unlimited computer time, dog gets walked early, music on, coffee pot on. And create!
Just found your Friday Night Sew-in. Im Sew-In...LOL. See you Friday Night.
I am looking forward to my first ever FNSI. I have seen them on the lovely blogs of people who are doing the Vignette hexagon quilt last year. I have a few projects on the go so will pick one and make sure I have everything I need for it organised ready to go.
Help, I need to get my niece's quilt finished, at least the top sewn together!

I have a BIG project to do. Quilting my Queen size quilt on my home machine. This will be a learning experience. (Please ignore any cussing you hear. hehehe)
Don't know what I'll be doing exactly. I am currently working on a spider web, a swoon and a wool applique. maybe i'll touch base on all three.
I haven't participated in months. But I'm getting that tingle and I miss the mess so I think I'll jump in this month.
Instead of rules, use "Guidelines".
*I stole that from Pirates of the Caribbean*
I will be fixing some of my bro-in-law's pants and hopefully getting some piecing done...
Cant wait for tonight, sew excited.
I'm joining at the last minute again, but I will be sewing away tomorrow night! :)
Count me in. DH is working and I can sew until I drop for sure.
Have just the right thing I want to do this evening. Hope to have a finished sample.
Guidelines was the word that immediately sprung to mind and it seem to be the popular chioce as I notice many ahve suggested it before me, although you could also go with notes or information. have just got back into stitching and plan to do some tonight so think for the first time I might linkmon up. happy stitching
Yippy. I have way to much to do not to make use of this time!
I'm planning on a FNSI once a month it's such a great idea. Tonight's projects are UFO's.

How exciting! I love inspiration especially when I can get it from Christian Crafters. Can't participate this Friday, but would love to in the future!
Thanks for organising this. I had a great time and hubby made sure everything was organised around it for me too which was wonderful. Girls are easy to manage but a 4 month old pup is a different matter LOL.
I've never participating in the Fri night sew in! I think it will be fun. Can't wait to see whatever does!
it is so cold here all we can do is stay in a sew tonight. Planning to work on my red scraps more. See if I can get the heart quilt top done to post Saturday AM or very late tonight.

Whew, it's midnight, and I've been sewing for 4 hours straight. Great fun. Thanks for hosting.
I really made progress last night and posted pictures on my blog at www.oneoldgoat.blogspot.com However I couldn't figure out how to link my blogpost to this comment.
Really fun initiative and its my first entry. Really enjoyed this and hope it will happen again in the future. Thank you for making this happen. ;)
Thanks for doing the FNSI! It really helps me to finish my projects.
My very first FNSI - thanks for hosting! Thanks to the motivation my binding is finally done!
What fun. Can't decide whether to commit or not yet. How about saying "guidelines" instead of rules. Not that I am bothered by the word rules but you had asked for another word! Thank you for organizing this fun for Fridays.
I love sewing on Fridays. Just added a link to FNSI today so I'm too late for January. I'm looking forward to the rest of the months though.
